Info on Saturday’s Elections
This Saturday there are elections across Texas, and the Austin area is no exception. Here are TEXAS POLITICS TODAY, we take civic participation seriously, and we encourage you to exercise your most fundamental right as a citizen — the right to vote and, thus, pick your leaders.
Polls are open Saturday from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Below is some information about the elections, with a tip of the hat to our colleague Mark Boyden at “A Neighborly Conversation.”
Here’s what’s on the Ballot:
- City Council: Three (3) Council Candidates - Places 1, 3, 4
- ACC: Four (4) Board of Trustees - Places 1, 2, 3, 5
- AISD: Four (4) Board of Trustees - District 2, 3, 5, 8 (at-large)
- AISD Propositions: Three (3) Bond Propositions
